Diamond speedstar a50. 8MB, PCI.

I have no idea. How can I find out?

What is "xcmap" and how do I use it?

Sounds logical. I'll try that. But I didn't have this problem with
RH6.0. I had to do a lot of configuration with rh6.0 because the
Xserver was supposed to support my card but there was a bug. So it
didn't work well until I 'tweaked' it.

I know there's some cards out there that perform better. I don't need
to run any thing demanding. Like games.
