Some peripherals like Osprey video capture card aren't supported. All
you get are standard ports (serial, parallel). IDE support is good. You
can define a software dreive or boot from a Window$ formated drive.
Network support is good but seems hog the NIC on the host machine. I
have mounted my VMWare drives from my Linux boxes and visa versa. Samba
works without a hitch. Generally I make a small VMWare virtual drive and
store all data on the Linux drive.


It is a per seat license, and the only difference in the student license
is the price.

I recommend it as an alternative to a seperate box, if you don't have
some expansion card you must use.
