[NTLUG:Discuss] online banks?

My wife and are new to the area, are are looking for a bank.  Can anyone
recommend a place with all or most of the following?

- secure online banking (this is the on-topic part)
  - SSL web server, using 128 bit keys
  - running on Linux or some Un*x, NOT IIS/NT
  - doesn't require you to use your SSN as a blanket id number, ala Norwest
    & Wells Fargo
  - preferably doesn't use cookies
- free checking (required direct deposit is ok)
- potential to deal with a real person if problems happen
- ATMs in the Desoto area, and a branch office there or near Love Field
- generally good customer service
