[NTLUG:Discuss] Database recommendation

I'm looking for any recommendations for an end user database tool. I've
got users that need an easy to use (ie point and click) database. My
preference is a Linux based tool. I tried Corel Office 7 Paradox but my
users couldn't figure out how to use it and frankly I don't have the time
to set it up for them. I've looked at StarOffice but it appears that it's
really nothing more than a feed and store for their spreadsheet tool.

This needs to be easy to setup and use. Simple point and click to create
views and relate data. I don't want to be paying $300 for this and I also
don't want to have to write the GUI to give them what they need. If I
have too I'll break down and figure out Paradox or get them MS Access but
those are my last resort options. I don't personally use personal
databases simply because I don't have the time to fiddle with em. Then
again maybe I should:)

Also I'm taking the lazy way out and asking for someone else's research
results, thanks:)
