[NTLUG:Discuss] Database recommendation

I'm not sure about Linux databases that can use
Windows clients...but I am told the easiest to use
database in Windows is Filemaker Pro. Perhaps it could
be used as a front end via ODBC or perhaps SQL if it's
supported to MySQL or PostgreSQL on a Linux Samba
server.
