Be aware that once two sides start flinging dung at one another, it is a 
*given* that *both* sides are going to look (and smell!) bad.  This is good 
for neither side, and few of the rest of us find it attractive.

A gentle suggestion to those that find themselves intolerably insulted: Don't 
fling back, regardless of the temptation.  Let someone else who appears more 
objective deal with the situation.  [I hesitate to say "Email Kendall," but 
that probably would have been an appropriate thing to do in this situation.]
