Yup, the techs are great. They put up with me calling them constantly
last March when I was down for 4 days. GTE decided to rearrange their
equipment in my local CO, and moved me to a new port that they
misconfigured. The techs at DirectLink were able to get it escalated
to GTE's nationwide ADSL advanced support office. Unfortunately for
me, this was an office of one. And that one guy was out sick. I really
hope that GTE has since added some additional people to their advanced
support. Once that guy came back from being out sick for 4 days, he
was able to look at the config on my port and fix the problem.
