I installed Red Hat 6.1 on my Dell 3500 laptop. I have a PCMCIA 10baseT network
card and a PCMCIA 33.6 modem. I have always (in RH6.0 and below) been able to
use the Control Panel to get the network and internet working. All I get when
trying to ping is network unreachable, and I have picked every com setting
there is, and then issued 'at' commands in Minicom, but I get nothing, it won't
even echo to the screen.
I have gone to setup and PCMCIA services is set at startup. I have never had it
so dead before, everything else works great, just no network, or internet.
Please help if you can.
