You can run xf86config, XConfigurator, or xvidtune to set various X server
characteristics, but read the man page on XF86Config.   You can edit this file
in /etc/X11.  I just add " DefaultColorDepth 16" in Section "Screen".  The order
of the modes in this section determines what you start with.

Hello,

I have just finished install of RH 6.1, and finally got connected to the
internet. I think it recognized my matrox millenium card and sony monitor.
But when I look at netscape on the internet the color look like about 16 and
the resolution is very low.

How do I increase this resolution? What can I do, oh what can I do - woe is
me!!!
