oh yeah.  tons o' crap.  latest enlightenment, Eterms, couple of
epplets, netscape, gkrellm.  but no gnome-session <eek-shudder>.  for
screensaver i use the one native to X, but i also have DPMS enabled and
it turns the monitor off after 20 mins or so....

yup, i've run an X server a long long long time without this kind of
behavior on this pc.  really weird.
