They are started in init.
When I restart the VMware services I get this
Stopping VMware services:
   Virtual machine monitor                                 [  OK  ]
   Bridged networking                                      [  OK  ]
   Host-only networking                                    [FAILED]
   Virtual ethernet                                        [FAILED]

and now, after running the restart command above, I cant even turn on
the VM
it now complains about vmmon not being loaded

I thought that was what the "OK" above meant?!?!?


I have recently been fighting with 3D (and loosing) so I am pretty
mentally bruised and VMware has me completely confused.
