[NTLUG:Discuss] Adapetc 2940UW SCSI Problems

Hope there is someone out there that can help me with this
problem.  I just recently upgraded from RedHat 4.2 (2.0.30 kernel)
to RedHat 5.2 (2.0.36 kernel).  I know I'm way behind, but
I've got some vendor software that is only spec'ed to run
on 5.2  :-{

While the 2940UW worked just fine with 4.2, it has major problems
in 5.2  I am getting constant timeouts and SCSI bus re-sets while
trying to access my hard drive.

I have temporarily replaced my 2940UW with a 2940U, but I really
miss the 40mb transfer rate.
