[NTLUG:Discuss] NTLUG -- Maximum Linux

A couple of months ago, Jaime Villela had the good idea to get NTLUG
listed, in the LUG listing of Maximum Linux magazine.  After taking it up
with the NTLUG leadership, a notice was sent to that magazine.  When it
was sent, some folks were wondering if the mag. would use all of the
write-up; it was a little lengthy.

Well, it looks like they used it.  On the way home this evening, I saw
the new issue at Border's Books.  On their LUG page, they featured NTLUG
as their "LUG of the Month".  They gave NTLUG  our own nice-looking box
in the lower right corner of the page; I quickly looked at it, but it
looks like they gave us a nice treatment, describing how much NTLUG has
grown; links to our site; etc.  Seemed like a pretty nice review.

What's missing?  Looking at their website tonight, they_still_don't have
NTLUG listed in their LUG webpage list (I asked them to include us),
although:  (1.)  they do have several links to other LUG lists (which,
hopefully, NTLUG is on), and (2.) they have a link to the LUG how-to
which our President, Kendall Clark, wrote and maintains.  I hope we might
pick up a few new local members from the hard-copy mag list, and some
more subscribers to NTLUG Discuss.  Best to all.
