[NTLUG:Discuss] eth0 not initializing at boot

I have a generic PnP ethernet card which will not start automatically upon
bootup. I have the card configured properly in /etc/isapnp.conf. When I reboot,
I have to activate the card with "modprobe ne.o io=0x300" and then
"/etc/rc.d/init.d/network restart". My /etc/conf.modules file is:

	alias 255.255.255.0 ne
	options ne io=0x300 irq=5

Any suggestions?
