Hello.

When I reboot computer from CD with any distribution I have (Slackware 7.1,
Debian 2.1),
parameters of my HDD (cyls, heds, sects) are recognized wrongly.

For this case manuals advice to use command line parameter like this

boot: hdX:cyl,head,sect

But see what I get on all my tries:

boot: "hda=16384,16,63"
Could not find kernel image: "hda=163.84,
boot: hda=16384,16,63
Could not find kernel image: hda=1638.4,1
boot: hd=16384,16,63
Could not find kernel image: hd=16384.,16
boot: hda:16384,16,63
Could not find kernel image: hda:1638.4,1

Have you clue how it expects to get the disk parameters?

Thank you
