[NTLUG:Discuss] DNS question

If this is too dumb a question for this list would some one please reply
directly.

I registered a domain somename.net. I am trying to set it up to point to
my DSL connection 123.456.789.999 where I have a web server, mail
server, and ftp server running.

I have followed several examples I have found and none of them pass
nslint on the public DNS server.

What do I need to put in the DNS to make it work?
