To make it a little clearer I also should have mentioned that scsi devices,
scanner in this case, are identified as scsi 1, scsi 2, fast scsi, etc.
Determine which catagory your scanner fails in then verify the card you are
considering supports that protocol and has the connector type you need. Any
scsi card that supports your scanner's specs should work regardless of brand
of scanner or card. Just remember what I said about adaptec.
