Just a note to MS Outlook Express users:

Many times I get these emails that were produced from MS OE and show up
as parts. I'm sure I'm not the only one.

There are a couple of problems for those of us using Netscape on Linux
as our mail reader.

1. The message has to be opened and (at least on my setup) gets opened
in a Navagtor window. Not an overly PIA problem, but sometimes I've
been visiting a site that gets overwritten by the message. This forces
me to go back to the site which sometimes causes a complete reload from
source.

2. Many (and I mean MANY!) times the message has NO line breaks!!!
This doesn't keep the message from being unreadable but I have to scroll
the entire paragraph to read it. This is not a pleasure.

As a result of these problems (especially #2) I simply toss some
messages that maybe would be of interest or that I may have a solution
for. Whether I read the message or not (scrolling along) depends on my
mood and the amount of time I have to read at that moment. I would
hazzard to guess that I'm not the only one that does this.

I strongly suggest that if you are using OE as you mailer you make sure
that the lines DO NOT exceed 72-75 characters. Or make sure the message
is sent embedded and not as an attachable part, however that works in
OE.
