[NTLUG:Discuss] 3com/usr modem setup

You basically have to try each one untill it work (Thats what I did) I
eventuall ended up with the following serial config for 2 ext. serial ports
(Palm / UPS) and internal modem : 

/dev/ttyS0 uart 16550 port 0x3F8 irq 11
#/dev/ttyS1 uart 16450 port 0x2F8 irq 3
/dev/ttyS2 uart 16550 port 0x3E8 irq 4
/dev/ttyS3 uart 16550 port 0x2E8 irq 3

That what i use in my /etc/serial.conf file. Using Debian 2.2 system.

I cant remember what tools I used to figure this out, been a long time
since I did it. I did use that howto that I mentioned though. Hope that
helps you out some.
