more @home comments:
i run http, ftp, smtp, pop3/imap, ssh, telnet from my @home connection. 
firewalled of course ;)   you'll know right away when @home scans you
looking for something.  so far i've only detected them scanning for news
servers - i think it has something to do with @home almost getting the
usenet death penalty.

so yeah, i think that if you don't do anything to git their attention,
you can run all the servers you want.
