What I meant was like a discussion forum, something like:

http://www.sporttwin.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard//ikonboard.cgi

But for Linux users for course. The reason I ask is because it is difficult
to view archives without going through each one.

I am not sure what you mean, newsgroup, IRC chat room, or something else.??
There are plenty of Linux IRC chat rooms. the friendliest (IMHO) are on
irc.openprojects.net. None AFAIK are just NTLUG though.
