Hello,
I didn't have any problem getting it to connect through my cable modem.
Course I also have the cable modem going straight to a hub which then
branches off to my wifes computer as well as mine. I have two static IP's
set up for it as well, one for my wifes and one for mine. I didn't have any
problems getting linux to see the @Home connection, merely plunked the
domain info, gateway, DNS info and it's IP. Getting it to see the NIC is
another story though but one I got resoved as a bunch of defective NIC's
from Fry's.
