Wow! That was a lot of information for me. I will save all these messages 
and weigh them against my experience with the two distributions I have on 
hand. Since the Red Hat version is older, I am going to start with the 
Corel, which is built on the 2.27 kernal. I probably will change to one of 
the distributions you have suggested after I get my feet wet with this one.

Thanks for your suggestions, I am sure I will have more questions for you 
by the end of the week.
