One thing I've learned. If it isn't broke, don't try to fix it.
If you have a distribution that you've been quite pleased with,
don't change for change sake (unless you just want to have some
fun of course).
Just a bit of advice for those considering changing... the grass
isn't always greener. Know why you want to change and research
ahead of time. Of course, if it's just because you want to get
a feel for as many distributions as you can... then have fun!
As others have already mentioned... each distribution has its
pros and cons. I have tried many different distributions... and
quite frankly, some just really bug me (placement of files, etc.).
But I've used *ix systems for about 17 years... I have some strong
biases.
As RMS says, "have fun hacking GNU/Linux",
