I'm only guessing, but I'm guessing it's free as in liberty, not free
as in beer, as the Gnu saying goes. Whether Solaris is *really* free
software is an exercise for someone else--it's at least somewhat
open-source, to some degree. It's almost certainly freeer (more free?) than
any Microslop bloatware is, at least insofar as liberty goes.
