	Maybe not exactly what you'd want to hear, but I have two
suggestions:

1.  Convert from Sendmail to Qmail and use Maildir's.
2.  Use qmail's pop3 system.  It's pretty much invincible.

	Just my $0.02.  If you decide to take my advice, and have any
trouble _after_ you read the documentation, and trial and error a bit,
