ADSL is not really appropriate. If you can get a contract at a reasonable
price, an SDSL setup would be better. This gives fast connections both
ways, and is generally a business-class offering (meaning you can host
small Websites without running afoul of your hosting contract. That will be
a problem with most inexpensive ADSL service). The majority of these
services prohibit Web hosting for others--some severely limit what you can
host for yourself on a residential account.
