Do you happen to know whether XFS has the feature SGI have in XFS under
IRIX where you can reserve a certain fraction of the drive's bandwidth
for a particular application?
That kind of thing would be really neat for playing movies and
audio from disk and not having it break up when some other process
decides to do some routine updating in background.
