Video4Linux is largely a set of kernel modules and are probably
available in SuSE 7.0. Try typing "insmod videodev", if it works, then
you have most of the video4linux drivers already compiled. You also
need the driver for the particular video capture device you are using.
If you are using a TV Tuner board like I am, then you probably have a
board with a BT84X chip (there are others). If you think you have one
of these boards, try typing the following commands:
insmod i2c
insmod tuner
insmod bttv
That should do it if you have a BT84X tuner. A few other video capture
devices are supported, but I am not familiar with them.
