[NTLUG:Discuss] Internet Explorer?

My guess is no. IE for Solaris had to install the rudiments
of the MS OS onto the platform. It was a real big package...
not so trivial. MS has no interest in Unix compatability...
so you can forget iBCS too. It crashed for me quite nicely...
never tried an Solaris/Intel version though.. if one exists(??).

Your best bet is trying to run the real McCoy under Wine (or VMWare or
Win4Lin... of course these two are really cheating). My recent
attempts under Wine have not been successful. I can run just
fine using VMWare... but VMWare or Win4Lin will require
a Windows installation. May be your only bet though. Still
it's better than not running Linux at all.

Can you switch schools? Can you tell us which school?
If it's a college or university, I can't imagine they would
be so dumb.... with every year I become a bigger believer
in home schooling.

Regards,
Chris
