Cool heads, now guys -- what's the problem?
The Profs/Instructors cannot handle file conversion - are we talking
about turning in assignments electronically?
What's the answer?
Other than change schools, or lose points, the answer is run
Windows.
Options on Linux: Wine, dual boot, VMware, or some variant, but
he says he cannot afford the MS price tag, so I guess he is stuck with
losing points.
Questions for the student:
How many points? Enough to flunk you no matter how well you do?
Any "big discounts" allowed on MS software for students -- did you
check the book store?
I wish you luck.
