I'm not arguing that; I'm saying, that BIND is badly coded,
needlessly complex, and horribly designed from a software design
standpoint. Just because it serves a lot of DNS on the net, doesn't make
it not suck.

I have. I wasn't impressed.

I don't need to come up with something better, someone else
already has. Go to http://cr.yp.to/djbdns.html. It's more reliable than
BIND, more stable than BIND, more secure than BIND, higher performance
than BIND, easier to configure/manage than BIND, better code than BIND,
