Ah! I get it.


> rpm -Uvh glibc*.rpm

I tried that and it wouldn't work.  I wound up using WEBMIN to install the
glibc rpm package.   There was an IGNORE DEP. switch that got the job done.

well, I did the deed.  So far so good.  Now I'm off to get the tjbdns
package you talked about.
