Ok it's official. Redhat sucks. (in the bad way)
Geesh. I feel like I'm fighting a Microsoft product...what with all the
work I'm trying to do working around all of the automation. How did you
guys in the Linux community let something so abominable enter the arena.
It's bad enough I have to deal with one OS that's so gay it has icons
labeled "My network places" and "Computers near me". (never mind that the
computers could really be across the wordl) Now it seems to have infected
the Linux community.
If this is the result of trying to make Linux user friendly, then I was
wrong. I don't want user to become user friendly. Leave Linux for the
network competent and give the users something else.
Let me also take this time to plug a Distro for the real man -- Slackware.
It has updates and they WORK!
Anyway...maybe I'll go to bed tonight.....yeah.....maybe.
You know....I'd almost prefer an MS product to Redhat.
(of course that's got to be just the frustration and anger talking)
