FYI, this is the response from D-Link. I don't agree with their reply since
my other DFE530TX cards are recognized as using rtl8139.o chipset instead
of the via-rhine.o .

I've attempted to install the DFE530TX+ on a Linux (RedHat 7.0) server, but
it isn't recognized. The box says that it is supported on Linux, also the
web site says that it is supported by Linux, but it doesn't work. I've used
several DFE530TX cards and Linux recognizes them as RTL8139 (Realtek
chipset) and works great. But the web site doesn't say that Linux is
supported on the DFE530TX. I suspect the web site and packaging is wrong
and that _only_ the DFE530TX is supported on Linux (since it is the one
that works).
