I guess I could plug my former hangout grounds here.   The #perl irc
channels on Efnet and Undernet (www.undernet.org to learn more about the
undernet irc network) used to be fairly good about helping people with
perl, however they tended to be inhospitable to questions related to cgi
(even though this was more of a question about the taint switch).
