Yep, just got this from Directlink.Net itself. It's dying.
Looks like its cable-modem time for me, or another DSL. Either way, I
need to be able to run my own mail server, or at least have the
ability to send mail with my own domain name (loafman.com). I refuse
to brand my mail with someone elses domain name.
We've got till 9/24, but I wish they had notified us sooner, like a
month or so ago.

Yes, as of September 24, 2001 the DSL section of ALLIED RISER
COMMUNICATIONS will be no longer be working nor will anything else in
ARC
because we are going to leaving the ISP business and that means that
directlink will no longer be able to provide internet service for our
customers...
I hope that you can find a new ISP within this time...

Any truth to the rumor thats going around on the NTLUG mail list?
If so, why wasn't I notified in time? Your web site only has one page
available and that won't even work right under Linux, so looking there
does no good at all.
