FWIW, here's the one rig I can carry:
Traveller, a multimedia-centric laptop:
Lemon^H^H^H^H^HCompaq Presario 1700T Laptop
Cervix Linux 2.0, a built-from-scratch distro (<crazy Irish voice>"It's
_my_ distro."</crazy Irish voice>)
Pentium III 750 on a mobile 440BX
128MB RAM
ATI Mach64 LM
ESS Maestro 3 sound
Cheesy Connexant WinModem (maybe it works, but I never use it!)
Intel PRO/100 CardBus II nic
Toshiba 8x DVD
1.44MB floppy (duh!)
Kernel 2.4.7 (will probably be 2.4.8 in a few days)
Glibc 2.2.3
GCC 2.91.66/2.95.3/3.0 (yes, all three versions.)
pcmcia-cs 3.1.28
XFree86 4.1.0
KDE 2.1.1/BlackBox/XFCE
Xine 0.4.3 (I, too, have essential tweaks ;)
I can also bring Cat5 cabling tools and supplies, though I've got less
than 50ft of bulk cable left.
