AT&T has stated that they won't let the service just flame out. I'm not
sure if this means "not flame out for a really long time but maybe for a
short while" or "no interrupted service until we figure out what to do
with it." I don't know if AT&T really wants the actual @home cable modem
service; I would think that they'd prefer to rent that out to somebody else.
@Home has a large customer base, and their whoe service system (well, I
guess AT&T's network now...) is built out and tested. That's going to be
attractive to a lot of buyers who're basically circling above waiting
for the Ch. 11 reorg to start with a cleaner slate.
