I know just how you feel.  I feel exactly the same way when I get
stuff from MS users that I can't read or have to use another app to
read.  I don't even like to get multi-part messages.  It seems to me
that since this is a computer list we should be literate enough to
just send plain text emails!

Seriously, have you contacted MS to see if they can help you solve
your problem. Surely there is an option to send emails in plain text
only.
