Well, had there only been just the 2-page glossy "fluff" MS ad, I
wouldn't be here considering cancelling the subscription. However, what
I do think is bad is that in the "Report from the Front" Section which
is section giving a thumbnail of what is going on with various Linux
companies, is a little blurb on Page 9 entitled "Microsoft Rushing
Windows XP". Absolutely nothing is mentioned pertaining to Linux in the
little writeup...it is a small infomercial for WinXP, and even though
they give the link for a reference to the company they are talking about
in all of the writeups in this section, it is offensive to me to see the
www.m$.com (not the actual link). This writeup is not marked as an
advertisement. It makes me wonder how long before Linux Magazine starts
running full feature Windows only articles. This is not want I wanted
when I subscribed to this magazine. I wanted Linux news and articles
and could care less about Windows.

In case anyone is wondering, I'm talking about the October 2001 issue of
Linux Magazine. It should soon be out on newsstands if it isn't there
already.
