Not confirmed that it is the case, but with my fathers interest in learning 
webpages, I installed the patch Ms recomends for the first worm.  after that 
time he has been having several problems with dial-up.
It could be argued that no one with dial up needs the web server, but then 
you could argue they don't need MS. But it is a plausable the patch had this 
side effect.
