  AFAIK, from a Microsoft partner, you can reinstall 3 times before you
have to get your license renewed (same hardware only).  There is a way to
put in a "master" license key which "registers" your windows XP, but I
don't know where it is, and I don't have any more details from the
partner.  It is supposed to involve a separate dialog box.
