Which is why I suggested using recruiters that they use. Usually, the
recruiter is savy enough to back off at the right time, plus knows a lot
more businesses than you do.
One person I heard about selected a field he wanted to work in, and
companies he did NOT want to work for. He got interviews with people, and
when he failed the interview, kicked back and assked what the "right"
answers were to the questions. That usually stunned people, and they gave
him the correct info.
When it got to the point he had a job offer from enough of the wrong
companies, he turned them down, and then went to interview with
the "right" companies. Did quite well, if I understand the story right.
