i especially like the window "tab" feature in the mozilla browser window
that's been introduced in the latest releases. for those that have
version 0.9.6 and later, try typing a ctl-t in a browser window. :)
i too experienced many difficulties in early releases of mozilla, but
they really have come a long way since then. i'm quite pleased with its
performance. as far as mailers go, i grew up on eudora light for
windows, and haven't seen anything like that for linux - the closest
match was kmail, but i'm not a big kde enthusiast. and it's been a
while since i've experimented with recent mail clients, so i'm pretty
unaware about new clients or improvements to existing ones. but i am
happy with the mozilla mail/news client.
