Hmm, how about (as root) go into /var/spool/mqueue, find the message and 
delete it?  There should be 2 files, 1 with a "d" and 1 with a "q" but with 
the same "random" number after the letter, IIRC.  One's the message, the other 
is a control file, remove them both.
