[NTLUG:Discuss] USB DSL

I just installed a second hard disk in my computer and
put Linux (Mandrake 7.1) on it.  It works well, but I
don't know if it is compatible with my DSL
installation from SWBell.  I have a DSL modem that
connects to the computer via USB.  I haven't tried
using the DSL yet.  I'm not really sure where to
start.  Any advice/web-sites/HOW-TOs/pointers would be appreciated.
