Right. And every 120 minutes since about noon on 2/10 rhnsd has been
putting another packet of error messages into the log.

Ok, done. It restarted successfully. I guess I'm going to have to
wait until the next sceduled check-in to see what the log says.

Depends on what the update actually is.  RHN still doesn't play nice
with Ximian, IME.
