Help!!! :) I set up one of my computers to share out the internet using
Firestarter, and it works for a few minutes then drops. The machine that
would be the gateway is running redhat 7.2. it has 2 nics in it, one
going to the cable modem, one going to my switch. For some reason , the
nic that is going to my local network is dropping packets like mad.here
is what I am seeing:

[root at dhcp-95-7 pparks]# /sbin/ifconfig
eth0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:A0:CC:34:2A:E5

eth1 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:D0:09:F7:5B:28
          inet addr:192.168.0.1 Bcast:192.168.0.255 Mask:255.255.255.0

          collisions:0 txqueuelen:100
          RX bytes:104118 (101.6 Kb) TX bytes:0 (0.0 b)
          Interrupt:10 Base address:0x9f80

lo Link encap:Local Loopback
          inet addr:127.0.0.1 Mask:255.0.0.0
          UP LOOPBACK RUNNING MTU:16436 Metric:1
          RX packets:82 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0

          collisions:0 txqueuelen:0
          RX bytes:5630 (5.4 Kb) TX bytes:5630 (5.4 Kb)

I am not using DHCP, I only have 1 other computer on the network at this
time. Not sure where to start looking, the same setup works in Windows
XP but not in linux. Any suggestions? Thanks.
