Recent versions of Ghost are supposed to handle Linux partitions (ext2
and ext3 at least). Check out the Ghost website:

Power Quest Drive copy is supposed to do linux partitions.
I tried it and it failed though. You might have better luck.

I dried to copy a 20Gig laptop drive with win200 and Linux
to a 30Gig drive and expand the partitions. The win2000
part worked, but the linux stuff did not.

I have used PowerQuest to resize linux partitions. That seems
to work.

As long as the drives are the same size, you can use dd on linux
to do a raw copy.

You can probable use Ghost to do a raw copy too.

I've tried this several times in the past. I've always ended up
taring up my linux drive to a tgz file, moving it to the machine
with the new drive and untaring it.
